Registration Fee (non-refundable) for Undergraduate Programmes (Entrance-based)

is as follows:

Registration fee for UR/OBC : Rs. 500 (Non-refundable)

Registration fee for SC/ST/PwD : Rs. 250 (Non-refundable)

A separate Registration Fee would be charged for each entrance test for which the

application is submitted.

Applicants seeking admission to Undergraduate courses, where the admission is based on entrance examination are required to apply online through the Web Portal

(http://admission.du.ac.in).

Computer-based Online Entrance Examination for Entrance-based

Admission

  1. a) The Admit Card for the entrance examination shall be available in the online applicant account

within in a week after the last date of application.

  1. b) Please visit the UG admission portal for news and updates related to the Admit Card and other

admission procedures.

  1. c) Applicant shall take the print-out of the Admit Card. The print quality of the Admit Card should be

good enough for verification.

  1. d) Admit Card shall carry the information related to examination Centre, Reporting time etc.
  2. e) The applicant shall carry the following documents to the Examination Centre:
  3. Printed copy of the Admit Card.
  4. Identity card bearing candidate‘s photograph, for verification. This can be any one of the following documents:

Aadhar Card, Driving License, PAN card, Voter‘s identity card,

Passport or College identity card, a copy of which has been uploaded with the

application form.

Note: Examination centre is allotted on first cum first serve basis subject to the availability of seats.

University may not establish examination centre in a particular city due to insufficient number of candidate

Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Business Economics

The Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Business Economics is an undergraduate programme, focuses on the principles of economics, management and the application of these principles along with quantitative methods to business situations. Many key business decisions rely on a clear

understanding of relevant economic concepts and principles and this course helps you understand the environment in which business function and how it interacts with its environment.

Bachelor of Management Studies

Bachelor of Management Studies or BMS is an undergraduate programme in management studies to equip students with knowledge of management and its various aspects that relate to business organizations. It provides the students with necessary skills required to assume management positions in a wide range of organizations through a learning and practical approach.

Bachelor of Business Administration (Financial Investment Analysis)

Bachelor of Business Administration (Financial Investment Analysis) or BBA(FIA) course offers an opportunity to acquire professional investment skills in the early stage of career as a

 Bachelor of Technology (Information Technology and Mathematical Innovations)

Building strong analytical skills through Mathematics and application skills of Information

Technology (IT), this course encourages students to recognize the connectedness of various

disciplines. The course aims to produce adequately skilled graduates with a creative mindset who

can provide new solutions to industry in particular and to society in general. The course offers three specialization streams – Management, Electronics & Embedded System and Systems Biology – important fields of education with significant interface with Mathematics and IT.

 Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Humanities and Social Sciences

Based on the meta-college concept, B.A. Honours (Humanities & Social Sciences) is a 3-year

Under-Graduate Degree programme fostering interdisciplinary approach to the study of

Humanities and Social Sciences, aiming to promote holistic education. Students benefit from the eclectic knowledge reservoir available at CIC from the areas of Design Innovation, Geography, Historical Tourism, Literature, Media & Communication Studies, Psychology, Natural Sciences, Information and Technology and Environmental Science. The curriculum is dispensed using a combination of classroom teaching, project-based learning, experimentation, group discussions, presentations, industry interactions and exposure, internships, and fieldwork. The programme has a unique and innovative course structure which engenders creative out of the box thinking. A student gets opportunity to design his/her own course by using, the resource pool available at CIC and in various colleges of the University of Delhi, by choosing papers that justifies

her/his specialisation in any one of the four streams being offered namely Art & Design,

Counselling, Historical Tourism & Journalism. On completion of the course students will be expected to have acquired the skills of effective communication, critical thinking, social research methods and social outreach.  Faculty of Education: Bachelor of Elementary Education

The Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) programme is a four-year integrated professional degree programme of Elementary Teacher Education offered after the senior secondary (class XII) stage of school. The programme is bilingual and interdisciplinary in nature. The programme is currently offered only for girls in 8 women colleges of University of Delhi. During the course, students study different theory courses in education, subject disciplines and practicum courses such as School contact programme, classroom management and material development and School based Internship. Intensive and focused workshops are organized through the year in the areas of theatre, craft, story-telling and self-development. The programme aims to prepare professional and competent teachers for the elementary school level. Alumnae from the programme also pursue higher education in different disciplinary areas.

Faculty of Inter Disciplinary & Applied Sciences: Bachelor of Science in Physical

Education, Health Education and Sports (B.Sc. [PE, HE &S])

Bachelor of Science in Physical Education, Health Education and sports empowers students to understand and appreciate the value of being physically active and to develop the motivation for making healthy life choices. This course is intended to provide academic knowledge and skills in physical and health education and sport science through discipline specific studies in sports, exercise

science and health.

Indraprastha College for Women: Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Multi-Media and Mass Communication

The Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Multi-Media and Mass Communication or BMMC has met with stupendous response and attracted aspirants who have gone on to become media professionals, thinkers and practitioners in their chosen field. It is aimed not merely at producing skilled workers for the media industry but developing a core competence and comprehension in the crucially important areas of mass communication across mass media, in their complexity, political dynamics and technological advances.

Faculty of Social Science: Five Year Integrated Programme in Journalism

The Delhi School Journalism under the Faculty of Social Science offers a Five Year Integrated

Program in Journalism in two languages English and Hindi.

– The program will have an exit option after three years; in that case the student will be awarded Degree of Bachelor of Journalism (BJ).

– The students completing two years post graduate course will be awarded the Degree of Master of Journalism (MJ).

– Courses will be taught separately for English and Hindi Medium students.

The program includes four foreign languages (French, Spanish, Chinese and Arabic) and two regional languages (Tamil, Bengali, Sanskrit and Urdu) in ten semesters. A student requires to opt

for one foreign language and one regional language from the above choices
