#MeToo in India: Terribly Tiny Tales Co-Founder Steps Down Following Allegations

As coming back cutting its way through bollywood #Metoo movement is in full swing. Tanushree Dutta leveled allegations against actor Nana Patekar, giving voice to many other unreported acts of harassments. Many bollywood celebrities including actors, producers and singers got stuck in the controversies.

Now, Terribly Tiny Tales (TTT) co-founder Chintan Ruparel is on hit.

TTT a popular social media platform for their entertaining stories announced that Chintan has “stepped down from his position as Chief Content officer ‘’due to the allegations against him. The organization further stated, “We’d like to reiterate that this behavior, in no way, reflects the work culture and environment at TTT”. Clarifying their stand, TTT wrote, “We have always been a close-knit community of writers from all walks of life, and this is affecting each and every one of us. We’re here, if you want to ask questions, we’re not running away from this.”

#Metoo movement has helped women to come out of their shells and break through the social constraints to narrate the condemned act.
