Students of Delhi School of Journalism called of their ‘Hunger Strike’

The students of Delhi School of Journalism who were protesting since long and were on hunger strike since Tuesday against the college administration demanding basic infrastructural facilities called off their strike yesterday night after being ‘assured’ by the college administration of fulfillment of their demands within a specific deadline.

A student of DSJ said, “We have not ended our protest, but have just called off the hunger strike on assurance by the college administration that our demands will be fulfilled within a specific span of time. We will still take out a huge rally on 25th Sept against the behaviour and numb response of the Vice Chancellor on this issue. Not only all the students but teachers and other political organisations will also extend their support to us.”
