School Of Open Learning(SOL) and it’s scope

  • The School Of Open Learning (SOL) in Delhi University offers four courses, BA (Hons.) English, BA The program, BA ( Hons.) Political Science and B.com.

There is a relaxation for those students who, are coming backward classes SC, ST, and OBC. There is also reserved available for students who belong to the PWD category.
SOL is committed to giving high-quality education to lakhs of students.

Due to the resource constraints and location, the students don’t have the access to use a similar library as available to regular based students.
They are facilitated by the technology-mediated right information, right time, 24×7, anywhere filling up the gap between information and information-seeker.

For transforming the existing traditional activities and services towards the ICT-enabled web-based library, “The Digital Library” for Open learners.
To evolve appropriate mechanisms of providing information to distance learners, many projects have been working out and many actions are initiated. The projects are undertaken for giving library access and information to SOL students.

Scope of School Of Open Learning:-

Candidates can go through the list of DU SOL 2021 courses to help select the best one and fill its details in the application form. The School of Open Learning University of Delhi offers pass courses in subjects like Hindi, Punjabi, History, English, Sanskrit, Tamil, Mathematics, Urdu, Commerce, English Honours and Economics.
