NET Registration Started
It is also need to inform interested candidates that the NTA has opened online registration for UGC NET June 2024 until May 10, 2024, accessible via ugcnet.nta.ac.in. Exam fee submission is from May 11-12, with a correction window available from May 13-15. The exam is set for June 16, 2024, covering JRF, Assistant Professor eligibility, and PhD program admissions in 83 subjects.The exam comprises two papers, both consisting of objective-type multiple-choice questions. There will be no intervals between the papers.
End of Traditional Eligibility Criteria
The decision marks a departure from the previous eligibility criteria, which mandated a postgraduate degree for admission to Ph.D programs and eligibility for NET. With this revision, students completing four-year undergraduate programs, such as Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.), and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Honors, among others, will now have the opportunity to directly enroll in Ph.D. programs.
