DU Admissions: Almost Lakh Students Already Registered for UG Courses

Delhi University (DU) opened its registration portal on 20th June. Since then, the university has already seen almost one lakh registrations. The exact count is 94,536 registrations. The same has been operating since Saturday evening. The stats is till 7:30 pm, Monday.

Furthermore, as accessed by various different newspaper agencies, the payment of more than 20000 applicants have also been accepted by the university. The exact number of paid applications are 22,355. Additionally, the payment is made only when all the details of the applicant is filled. This also includes the board marks.

Moreover, the CBSE and ICSE results have yet not been declared. This implies that these applications have been filled by students of other state boards.  Various state boards have declared their results recently.

CBSE has been the largest contributor to the population of applications in DU. However, the exams of CBSE are on hold due to the pandemic.

The registration portal of the university will reopen only after the CBSE declares its decision on holding the examination. The registration date could come in July.

Furthermore, the university has also recorded 31,715 registrations for PG courses. It has also received 3,865 applications for Phd.
