Delhi Chief Minister Self Quarantines

Delhi Chief Minister( CM), Arvind Kejriwal has gone into self-qauarantine. Suffering from sore throat and fever, the CM is expected to get himself tested tomorrow. Additionally, he will undergo the coronavirus text on 9th June, Tuesday. Additionally, sore throat and fever are symptoms of Covid-19 like.

Furthermore, the CM also suffers from diabetes, the officials informed. The Chief Minister has not been feeling well since Sunday afternoon. Additionally, an AAP speaker informed that the CM has not received any guests since Sunday afternoon.

Previously, Arvind Kejriwal attended a Cabinet meeting on Sunday morning, and haven’t been in good health since then. Due to this, he wasn’t able to attend any further meetings of the same. The Chief Minister has been conducting most of the meetings online by video conferencing for last two months, keeping the conditions in mind.

Moreover, the cases of coronavirus in the capital is spreading at a high rate now. The number of cases have crossed the 28000 mark and are still rising. Further, the number of fatalities have also reached more than 800 in the capital city of the country. The health bulletin issued by Delhi Government read these facts.  Furthermore, coronavirus was cause of 51 deaths in the city on 6th June, 2020. 10,999 have as of yet been treated and recovered from the same. 17999 cases are still active in Delhi, the capital of India.

The capital has conducted more than 25 lakh tests till date. While the total number of patients in home isolation stands at 12,213 as of now. More than 200 patients (237) are in ICU’s or on ventilators in the capital region. The department informed that the number of containment zones in the city stands at 167.

Although the cases in capital and country are on a rise, the cities in the country have now opened up. Malls, restaurants, and religious places have been opened for common people.
