DU Students Against Online Examination

Recently Delhi University passed a notice regarding the possibility of taking online Open Book Examination (OBE) for last year students of any Under-graduation and post-graduation course. As per that notice, Delhi University notified students regarding OBE and date sheet for the same. OBE is supposed to start from 1st July 2020. students weren’t happy by the same and started raising their voices. Students are demanding to cancel Online examination and started tweeting with #DUAgainstOnlineExam and #EducationWithoutExclusion. This campaign was started by the All India Student Association and is trending on number 1 on twitter.
Students expressed poor internet connection and a lack of e-resources and study materials. Some students also complaint against the poor online classes and study materials provided by the same. As per the students’ complaint, some teachers are not taking online classes while some other teachers are taking online classes but are not providing proper notes.
Previously All India Student Association surveyed with 1500 DU students and found out 75% of them don’t have proper resources for appearing in the online examination.
Delhi University is still quiet about this and no new notice have been passed by them.
