Thou it’s rainy, but for DU it’s the season of elections!The university has different campaigning going on including both the DUSU level and the COLLEGE level elections.
Amidst this, one of an all girls college DAULAT RAM COLLEGE had its elections conducted on 10th of September. The election observed several voters altogether from the college voting for their preferred candidates.
After the voting procedure came to an end, there from began the counting of the same which came out as an utter amazement!
~The total votes for the post of PRESIDENT came out to be 1400.
~While the total votes for the post of GENERAL SECRETARY were counted to reach a total of 1650 votes.
The question that lies in front of us is the difference of ‘250 votes! The only thing the facts assure and suggest are the speculations behind the curtains!
Observing the present scenario, the college has agreed upon conducting re-elections for all the posts. The date decided for the same is 13th of September 2018. So, let’s look forward to a legitimate and transparent voting session exclusive of all sorts of speculations.
