COVID-19 Recovery Rate Higher Than the Positivity Rate in Delhi: Sisodia

Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Sunday, i.e., 28th June said that COVID-19 recovery rate has improved and has increased to 62% in Delhi. “Today, more patients are recovering in Delhi than those who are falling ill, the number of deaths is coming down, positivity rate is decreasing rapidly”, he stated. Furthermore, he added that Delhi will certainly not hit 5.5 lakh cases by 31st July as predicted by domain experts in the first week of June. “We are hopeful that the situation will improve in the coming weeks”, he said. He also praised Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal by saying that “his efforts seem to be paying off.”
