This movie gave some real travelling goals to the young generation. The credit for making Goa a popular holiday destination,that too via a road journey,for a young bunch of friends goes to this movie.
- Ye Jawani Hai Diwani
The movie captures the snow clad peaks
of the Himalayas and beautiful
monuments and palaces of Rajasthan. YJHD surely gave way to many bag packers trip for trekking into the Himalayas and destination weddings in Udaipur.
- Tamaasha
Tamaasha beautifully pictured the city of Corsica and presented another dream destination for the Indian audience. Corsica,an island of superlatives, a mountain jewel in France has been depicted amazingly in the movie.

As the protagonists set out on a road journey from Delhi to Kolkata,the movie creates a strong zest among the viewers to immediately go on a road trip. Detour Varanasi, the movie shows how mesmerizing the ghats appear at night. Moreover the journey song is an icing on the cake.

The movie has depicted both train and road journey in a beautiful way. The cities of Ratlam, Kota,Bhatinda, Manali and Shimla being the stoppages in the journey, have been cleverly used to show the different stages of the movie.

Highway shows how travelling through the valleys of Himachal and Kashmir helps the female protagonist discover that aspect of life,which she was unaware of while in her posh lifestyle. The essence of travelling has been nicely portrayed by the movie.
- Chennai Express
Right from the mesmerizing Dudhsagar Falls to the beautiful landscape of Munnar, Chennai Express has depicted the beauty of countryside in a totally amazing way. Also it shows the road journey to Rameshwaram, which creates a want in the viewers to visit the place.
- 3 Idiots
While the whole movie has beautifully depicted the different parts of India through road journey, the climax scene stands as a hands down winner above all. Shot with the Pangong lake as the background, it has flaunted the scenic beauty of Ladakh.
