DU organised Virat Kavi Sammelan

The Virat Kavi Sammelan convened at the Delhi University Sports Complex to commemorate the 75th birthday of Prof. Bhimsen Singh, who was a former principal of Kirori Mal College, orchestrated by the Khushhali Foundation. Renowned poets from various corners of India graced the occasion, as disclosed during a press briefing hosted by the foundation at the Press Club of Delhi. Distinguished speakers at the conference encompassed Gajendra Solanki, Anoop Lathar, Dr. Prabhanshu Ojha, Dr. Saurabh Ji, and Sonu Singh.

Celebration with the presence of esteemed guests

Professor Balram Pani, serving as the Dean of Colleges at Delhi University, Justice Vijender Jain, the esteemed former Chief Justice of the Delhi, Punjab, and Haryana High Court, and Mr. Daya Shankar Singh, the honorable Transport Minister of Uttar Pradesh, were the esteemed chief guests at the event. Joining them were distinguished guests including Professor Rajesh Singh, the Chief Librarian of Delhi University, and Anoop Lather, the Public Relations Officer and Chairperson of the Cultural Council of Delhi University.

The program was chaired by Professor Rajni Abbi, the Proctor of Delhi University, while Professor Rama, the Principal of Hansraj College, extended a warm welcome to all attendees. The celebration also featured the presence of Shri Gajendra Solanki, the Coordinator of the Kavi Sammelan, Dr. Prabhanshu Ojha, the General Secretary of the Khushhali Foundation, Dr. Saurabh Ji, the Chief Patron of the Khushhali Foundation, and Mr. Sonu Singh, the President of the Khushhali Foundation. Together, they commemorated the birthday of Professor Bhimsen Singh by cutting a large cake in the presence of the distinguished guests.
