Its raining internships in Delhi University. After securing highest job placements in 2015, Delhi University’s Lady Shri Ram College has witnessed unexpected internship offers this year.
The highest offer was made to a girl by an American Bank at Rs 1.4 lakh for a 2-month period.
Another student bagged an internship offer of Rs 1 lakh at Ernst & Young.
Overall, 279 offers were made to students of LSR of which 97 are paid internships.
In the 2015-16 placement season, 59 companies offered placements of which 38 visited the campus. The highest offer was of Rs 29 lakh per annum, while the average was Rs 6.4 lakh. A total of 112 students were placed.
