Delhi government bans online and semi-online classes in all private schools during summer holidays.

Government of Delhi has prohibited all private schools from operating any kind of online and semi-online classes during the summer vacations.

The Education Department of the Delhi government has decided to give a break to the students by suspending all online and semi-online classes, along with any other learning activities which were being held regularly by all the private schools in Delhi. They have declared summer vacations in all government and private schools of Delhi from April 20 to June 9.

The education department was informed that despite the announcement of summer vacation, many private schools have been adamant in conducting online classes and implementing extra work without providing any break to students. This order has been issued after addressing this serious problem.

This break is also for the teaching staff who have been continuing online mode teaching keeping all their personal worries aside. It also acted as a reminder for the purpose of the summer holidays, which was to break the monotony of studies and pursue new skills and hobbies.
