Closure of University of Delhi extended by 2 weeks

 

University of Delhi has recently issued another notification dated 17th May 2020. This notification is regarding extending the closure of all the colleges under University of Delhi. This comes after the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, issued, Order No. 40-3/2020-DM-I (A) dated 17th May, 2020. This is to ensure that stricter implementation of guidelines takes place. thus the closure of the university has been extended by 2 weeks. the commencement for the same will take place from 18th May 2020.

To prevent the spread of COVID-19, this decision has been taken into consideration by the university for better outcomes. The notification also requested the employees to install Aarogya Setu app.

During this unfortunate time the current method of online learning has to be continued. Reading material has to be made available for the students. The university has asked to make use of the VPN connection facility. the students can access it by visiting the official site of Delhi University( http://www.du.ac.in/du/ ). This will ensure the accessibility of useful online material from the library by sitting at home.
