5 Hours to be given to differently-abled students for OBE (Open Book Examination)

After a long protest against OBE (Open Book Examination) by teachers and students, Delhi University and HRD Ministry gave a thumbs up to OBE. Due to the rapid increase in the number of COVID-19 cases, it was risky for the University to conduct an exam physically so for the safety of the students HRD Ministry gave Delhi University permission of conducting online examination. Now, DU decided to take OBE for students registered under the final year/semester exam of any UG or PG course. Previous students can also appear for improvement exams whereas students of 1st and 2nd year of Regular/SOL/NCWEB have been promoted based on marks of internals or previous semester.
DU recently gave some guidelines regarding OBE to the students and notified them to give some extra benefits to differently-abled students. Now they have decided to give 5 Hours to differently-abled students to complete OBE. In addition to that students who don’t have e-resources and are going to appear in examination from CSC (Common Service Centres) are allowed to bring their scribes to their respective centers.
University asked to take care of Social distancing and follow all the other guidelines given by the Government regarding Covid-19.
