Delhi University Offers its Students Internship in Vice Chancellor’s Office

Students at Delhi University (DU) will now have an opportunity to work in the Vice Chancellor’s office and contribute to policy making, updating archives and other administrative works related to the functioning of the varsity

DU is inviting applications from from semester II and IV students at the varsity for a four-week internship in the VC office, situated in historical Vice Regal Lodge.

Reportedly, in the first phase of its recruitment drive, more than 5,000 students have applied for 50 positions of interns.

“We have invited applications from semester II and IV students enrolled in various courses at DU. The select 50, will work from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM on week days with officials of the VC Office on various projects connected with the university. Weekend duties may also be assigned,” DU’s Joint Dean of Students’ Welfare Malay Neerav told a leading daily.

The 50 lucky students who will be selected as interns will require to work on five projects during their four-week internship in the VC Office. Alongside the officials of the VC Office, these interns will contribute in updating university archives, inspecting and ensuring readiness of colleges for National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) visit, policy making for upkeep of University guest houses and defining role of DU in contributing to the local economy.
